Our Draft Itinerary

Here's the rough itinerary for the weekend - more details to follow and feedback always appreciated!

Friday, March 27.

We'll have two batches of planes arriving, the AM "I'm ready for a Rum Runner" crew and the PM "Where are the Lemon Drop Shots" Crew.

The AM Crew will head down to the beach early to check into the Sand Pearl Resort and check out the view! We have a day of sunning, pool lounging, and munching at Frenchy's ahead of us.

Once the PM Crew arrives, we'll gather together for a low-key dinner, most likely at The Columbia Restaurant overlooking the water and drinking some of the best sangria around. We'll test everyone's mood after the long flight.

Saturday, March 28.

Up early, ladies! We must reserve our chairs by the pool! Or the beach? It's really all right there, so lots of options. A day of sunning in the sand or poolside is in our reach. If the day proves not great for tanning, we'll rent bikes and head up the Pinellas Trail, a great bike path through Clearwater beach. We also have the option to kayak for those of you feeling more adventurous.

Saturday night will be a night out on the town, it's a surprise :)

Sunday, March 29

After a much needed, greasy brunch, the bride and guests that are interested will head to the spa at the Sand Pearl. If you're not interested in a rub down, the beach, pool and all the activities will be right at your finger tips.

UPDATE: We'll be jumping on a Catamaran cruise at 1 PM - 2 hour excursion with cocktails and friends!

In the evening, we'll head back to Tampa and do a low key BBQ or dinner back near my place at Harbour Island. We'll enjoy some wine and tell stories about all the buttons Jen bit off of boys shirts the night before.

Monday, March 30

I'll be driving some of you off to TPA and bidding farewell. Those of you hard core vacationers will spend Monday with Moi, and I will show you all that Tampa Bay has to offer in 6 hours or less. The Salvador Dali Museum is the world's largest collection of Dali artwork in the world, we have an amazing luxury outlet center only an hour away in Orlando, and we could even be super crazy and head over to the rides at Busch Gardens.
